IMAGING

 This department combines Radiology, Ultrasonography, Electrocardiogram (E.C.G.) and echo. It is a medical specialty that employs the use of imaging for diagnosis and treatment of disease visualized within the body. The department uses an array of imaging technologies such as plain radiography (x-rays), Ultrasound scan, CT scan and Mammography to diagnosis of ailments. Our Radiology department is currently headed by a senior radiographer working together with two other radiographers and 3support staff.

When should I have scan done?
  1. When I am  Pregnant
  2. Suspected head injury following accidents
  3. Pain in any part of the body
  4. Suspected broken bone and limbs
  5. Suspected blood clot
  6. Swelling or mass on or in the body
  7. Any patients’ preparation required?
  8. X-RAY:  No special preparation is required.
  9. ULTRASOUND SCAN:  You may be required to drink water in order to have a full bladder or have an overnight fasting.

OPERATING HOURS
We are open from 8:00am to 9:00pm Monday to Friday.
9:00am -3:00pm on weekends and public holidays.
On call staff are available thereafter.
